Ride4Humanity 01

Ride4Humanity bike comes from a long line of charity and change. The
bike was first conceived 5 years ago for Ride 4 Haiti and won in a
raffle by Brandon Hochman. Hochman, formally an x pro snowboarder had no
fear to what was going to be a cold and wet Saturday morning ride from
Harley-Davidson Glendale, California, to Bert’s Mega Mall in West
Covina, on his custom Harley Deuce. All in hopes to win this dubbed
“Haiti-themed” Suzuki GSXR 1000 valued at $40,000 will be auctioned”.

“The Ride 4 Haiti event is brought to you by Hollywood Unites For
Haiti and Scorpion Customs, and will take place rain or shine”. With
that said, Brandon knew it was 100% rain and 95% would be too scared to
ride the storm. Especially after speaking with all his friends in
trying to get them to pitch in to get more tickets and take the ride as
well. All declined the offer and to Brandon’s benefit, as Brandon
literally was telling the builder Tony Sesto to “be careful with his
bike” as they rolled it off the truck and then again as they rolled it,
still wrapped and up onto the stage. Brandon was wet, cold, and
determined to win. 100% right about the limited turnout, Brandon’s smile
was seen across the lot as he went to the ATM twice in the last 24
hours and ready to lay it all down on raffle tickets.

As the people gather around the stage at Bert’s Mega indoor mall. The
sun decides to peak and clouds start to spread apart in the town of
Azusa. Brandon takes to the stage with a winning raffle ticket and with 5
others to compete in the finals. A couple of push-ups later and some
Hessian trivia, Brandon won the bike.

Today Brandon is still using this bike for exactly what it was
intended “4”. A rolling billboard to raise awareness for several life
threatening causes on the Ride4Humanity. Last year Brandon rode his
Rescue themed sport bike over 3600 miles from NYC to Los Angeles for Pet
Rescue and Best Friends Animal Society.

This year Brandon’s bike has the Animal Rescue Orange theme. However,
is encompassing all of Humanity with his multi colored design that he
and artist, Raul Gonzales came up with. Each colored stripe represents a
different cause and a dream team, which soon will have its own
dedicated rider.

As 2015 becomes the first year that Ride4Humanity will be sending out
invitations to some of the worlds most talented bike builders and a
chance to test and prove their builds performance across America.

September 15th 2014, Brandon will once again drop his bike in New
York City, on the Ride4Humanity and raise awareness, 3600 miles home to
Los Angeles.
